About Me

Being diagnosed with Narcolepsy in 2012, I am not new to living with Narcolepsy.
Having 4 children, first one at 19 and last one at 34, I am not new to children/parenting.
Going to college at 17 to obtain a degree in Secondary Education (English), I'm not new to Education.

But... What I am new to ... All of this stuff put together! The level of organization these other homeschool mom's have, well, it's absolutely amazing! I'm tired all the time, I'm somewhat disorganized, I have serious memory issues (happens when your sleep cycles are all jacked up), I am NOT a social person! I have severe anxiety! But we must socialize our children...

This blog is my attempt at sorting through all these new situations and circumstances I am dealing with. I'm hoping to learn some things about myself, learn some things about other individuals who homeschool with or without disabilities. I'm hoping this blog will help me keep myself a little more organized, and a little less forgetful. 🤣

Most of all, I'm hoping someone else can get or gain or learn something from all of this.

If this blog can bring together even a handful of mind who have something besides homeschooling in common .. It will have served a purpose. There's nothing more miserable then feeling alone in such an amazing, beautiful journey.
