Educational Easter Activities and Ideas, Cross-Curriculum
Easter is a wonderful time to celebrate with family and friends, and also my second favorite holiday after Halloween. It is also a great opportunity to teach your kiddos about the Spring season. Here are a few ideas for developing a mini, cross-curriculum with Easter as the theme.
Language Arts:
- Read stories about Easter, such as "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" or "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." These stories will help your child learn about the symbols and traditions of Easter.
- Write a poem about spring. This will help your child express their creativity and learn about the different aspects of spring.
- Make a craft that represents something about Easter, such as a paper mache cross or a basket filled with eggs. This will help your child learn about the different symbols of Easter.
