Night to Shine

Night to Shine is a prom night experience for people with special needs, organized by the Tim Tebow Foundation. It was created by Tim Tebow, a former NFL quarterback and current professional baseball player.

The first Night to Shine event was held in 2015, and since then, it has grown to become a global movement, with over 700 host churches in all 50 states and 34 countries.

The event is completely free for guests and their families, and it is a night of fun, glamour, and love.

So, what exactly goes on at Night to Shine?....

Amidst the shimmering moments, special guests can expect a red carpet debut, luxurious limousine rides....

...but only after, some pampering, including but not limited to, hair, makeup, and shoe shining.

And of course, a symphony of dance and karaoke, a feast meticulously curated....

And as the crescendo of this wondrous night unfurls, behold the crowning jewel—a majestic ceremony where every esteemed guest is adorned with their own crown or tiara, a symbol of their unparalleled significance. This evening, woven with magic and splendor, transcends the ordinary, creating a tapestry of unforgettable memories!

Last year, I had the honor of attending with my son, Cody. It is truly magical to watch.

This year, the same as every year since 2015, the event will be hosted by High Street Church.

Registration for the event opened on November 8 this year, and was totally full on November 10, only 2 days later.

This is a testament to the popularity of the event and the need for more hosts.

Night to Shine is a significant event for individuals with special needs as it makes them feel cherished, valued, and special. It's a night to showcase their unique abilities and talents.

It provides an opportunity for socializing and making new friends.

Additionally, it is an opportunity for us, as a community, to pull together and show these special individuals that they are loved and appreciated!
